Mount pond is a typical park pond of about 3 acres it carries a depth of between 18 inches and 5 foot plus. It has recently had extensive planting carried out to its margins and has a tarmac path running around the edge. There is also a designated wildlife\bird sanctuary area where no fishing is allowed. SPECIES Fish stocked in the pond are as follows:- CARP to 20lb. ROACH. GUDGEON. EEL'S. (And the occasional Terrapin.) BAITS Maggot. Pellet. Meat. Corn. Boilies (NO SURFACE BAITS) METHODS Ledger to island margins. Whip or float fish margins. The method. Stiff rigged pellet. Refreshments Available from TOM'S TEA WAGON situated next to Mount pond. Eagle pond is a typical parkland pond of approximately 1 acre with a small island. Over the last two years it has undergone a complete regeneration program, having been completely de-silted, bank re-instatement, the planting of over 500 aquatic plants as there were none. the provision of new swims for both able and disabled anglers, the creation of an adjacent wetland area and the restocking of the pond with a more diversified range of fish as the pond was mainly occupied by carp. It also has its own re-oxygenating plant to re-oxygenate the water should the need arise at times of low oxygen levels. It has levels of from 6 inches margins to just over 5 foot. SPECIES Fish stocked in the pond are as follows:- CARP to 19lbs. TENCH. BREAM. ROACH. RUDD. PERCH. GUDGEON and POND CHUBB. BAITS Maggot. Caster. Hemp. Pellet.
