16lb Common carp, caught from Mount Pond Clapham Common on 21/2 TC rods and 10lb line. Bait was Tiger nut popped 3ins with a piece of cork and fished under a overhanging tree to the far bank.                                                                                

 

My personal best 18lb mirror carp, caught from the Mount Pond, Clapham Common 3rd week in august 2002.around 14:30 on a nice sunny day. caught on a  21/2 TC custom rod, Browning bait-runner reel, and 15lb line. size 6 barbless hook. Bait was luncheon meat hair rigged and ledgered tight to the Island next to the overhanging tree .tight lines  Dave

 

 

17lb12oz mirror taken by Dave Hackney from peg 26 on Eagle pond caught on the pole with a size 18 hook, single white maggot and number 14 elastic.

 

 

 

This is my first ever carp!    

It was caught at eagle pond on a size 8 hook to10lbs main line on the feeder, treble sweetcorn  on the hook was the successful bait, not sure of the weight but another fisherman says it is between 17 to 20lbs? it was caught just under the overhanging tree on the island
